Picture perfect falling apart

Lay me down

Gently

Don’t just cut the wrought iron rope and

Watch me tumble down

Crashed to the ground

I tried, I really did

So lay me down

All around red rose pedals

Gently

I’ll fall down

Lay me in the pink and purple clouds

Don’t let me live in black and white

Crashing down

Look at my face; my lips, my eyes, add some color

While I lay

Don’t just plunge me into the ground

Let me grow

Lay me down

Let me sleep

Let me have bright dreams

Lay me down please
